Amna Rashid is a licensed lawyer in Ontario, Canada, and in Punjab, Pakistan, with over 13 years of experience in legal research, academia, and legal drafting. She holds an LL.B. from the University of London and earned her LL.M. as a prestigious Fulbright Scholar from Columbia University in the City of New York. During her time at Columbia, she was awarded the Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar distinction and received the Parker School Certificate in Comparative and International Law.
After immigrating to Canada, Amna completed the Global Professional Master of Laws (GPLLM) at the University of Toronto, with a focus on technology and privacy law.

Dr. Umar Rashid is a legal scholar and practitioner with over 15 years of experience in legal practice, academia, research, policy consultation and regulatory compliance, and is currently a NCA candidate.
Umar holds a PhD in Law from the University of Adelaide, an LL.M. from New York University School of Law and an LL.B. from the University of London. At New York University, Umar was a Fulbright Scholar, the Mamdouha Bobst Global Scholar and the recipient of the Dean’s Graduate Award.
Umar’s work focuses on regulatory compliance and policing advising, with particular focus on regulating artificial intelligence, digital rights, privacy, labour policy, and immigration and refugee policy. With his extensive cross-jurisdictional expertise, Umar has extensive experience in providing compliance advice on competition policies, labour policies, privacy policies, and regulatory licensing.
